- We will have recycle bins at both locations where we invite you to bring your newspaper, catalogs, mail, and office paper for drop off. Cardboard excluded from this bin. All in house paper will be recycled here.
- We will have bins labeled for you to return your used pots which we will collect and recycle. All our own plastic – pots and over wintering plastic sheeting will be collected and delivered for recycling.
- These same used pot bins we invite you to scavenge for any you might use, free of charge. Just drop them off again when you no longer have a use for them.
- Join our Plant a memory, Please the Planet program. Starter trees you can plant in honor of a birth, birthday, loved one and watch grow over the years, economical quart size pots that kids can plant and care for.
- Pick up a handout and create your own native garden, rain garden, green roof.
- Install a rain barrel. We have some economical ones for sale.
- Start your own compost bin, ask for a handout.
- Ask about natural fertilizers and pest control products we are carrying.
- Plant a veggie container and pick your own organic produce from your own yard. We will have over 40 varieties of heirloom tomatoes and peppers to choose from.
- Shop local growers that reduce trucking fuel consumption.
- Share a Go Green suggestion and we will post it on our page.
